Ahi Poke: A Quick Healthy Lunch in Mar Mikhael
Simple food, comfort food if I may call it, AHI Poke is the perfect choice for a quick lunch at work. Delivered with Toters, the Poke balls arrive fresh and loaded with flavors. After visiting many Poke joints in New York, I can tell you that AHI Poke serves delicious bowls I personally enjoyed.
Fresh crab, avocado, sweet mango pineapple cubes and sweet notes mixed with strong acidity. Fresh greens, ripe avocados, crunchy cucumbers; a juicy mix with crunchy almonds creating a balanced mix of textures. This great mix is served without rice with a mix of coconut sauce.
Tuna is excellent! Mixed with a spicy cocktail sauce, the mix of ingredients makes one want to order another. Takuwan, crunchy edamame, tender sticky rice, crunchy cucumbers and fresh premium quantity ahi tuna. I love the textures, the spiciness and the ginger on the side.
Crispy salmon: Tuna cubes, rice, crispy crisps, fresh crunchy carrots and cucumbers with avocado. The roasted sesame sauce is what makes it interesting.
I enjoyed the lunch: I will repeat my experience.
