Breakfast at the hotel is served every morning from 6 to 10am. Down next to the lobby a long buffet of choices is laid out. Arriving at 8am the main brasserie was full so we were invited to go up to the first floor. That way I had the chance to experience both restaurants.

A welcoming staff as usual, the big smile on their face puts you in the mood for breakfast. We were given a private room down the hall due to lack of space.

An impressive long buffet loaded with choices. 16 different hot meals, a long bar of fresh items and two chefs preparing eggs a la minute.

The hot stations:

  • Abalone porridge
  • Chinese congee
  • Crabmeat soup
  • Beef seaweed soup
  • Steamed rice
  • Fried steamed rice
  • Stir fried noodles
  • Tea eggs
  • Grilled fish
  • Crispy bacon
  • Sausages
  • Mini beef steak
  • Pork dimsum
  • Shrimp dimsum
  • Pancakes
  • The cold stations:
  • The fruit salad bar
  • The vegetable salad bar
  • Sushi rolls
  • Salmon and cold cuts
  • The live omelet station
  • Cereals and yogurt
  • Bread and croissants

My favorite was a bowl of cereal, yogurt and fruit. Their fruit are indeed fresh, juicy and delectable. Unfortunately they don't know what Eggs Benedict are a five star Intercontinental in Seoul.

The next morning we headed up immediately. The space was empty and calm with all stations and plates filled. Everything looked appetizing, the Korean plates, salmon, cheese and bread. I ordered an omelet, which was oily and lacked taste. I didn't feel like adventuring into those hot plates, so I had my usual yogurt and fruit plate again. They don't have Eggs Benedict.

If the second floor is impressive, check out what they have to offer in the main breakfast area. Endless choices, three chefs working in the kitchen, waffles and eggs, Chinese and Korean specialties, juices, fruits, Danish pastries, a coffee machine, sauces, spices, sushi, porridge, sausages and much more.

If you're a breakfast fan and like to start your day in style, this is surely the place you want to be every morning.
