This month, Mars Chocolate is launching a new limited edition MARS Xtra Choc bar and encouraging consumers to ‘Bring it on this winter’. The MARS bar is transformed with an extra chocolatey taste from chocolate caramel and chocolate nougat encased in a thick chocolate coat. Available for a limited period, MARS Xtra Choc will be available alongside the original MARS bar.
MARS Xtra Choc builds on the success of MARS Triple choc, which launched in 2011 and had the highest rate of sale of any limited edition bar over the last three years. MARS Xtra Choc will be available in a single, as well as multipacks of three full size bars and four pack snack size bars. The bar provides an opportunity for retailers to kick-start their confectionery sales in 2015 and offers consumers a chance to try a new chocolaty version of one of the nation’s favourite bars.
