KLM Lounge 25 at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

Next to seating Lounge 1 in the european part of the airport is Lounge #25, for KLM and Skyteam travelers. A very big lounge is spread on two areas hosting the same sofas and having the same mood.

Royal Dutch airlines KLM has 2 flagship lounges at Schiphol - for Schengen departures (lounge 25, upper level) and non-Schengen (intercontinental lounge 52, upper level near the F pier). Free access is available to elite members - Flying Blue Platinum and Gold or Skyteam Elite Plus which includes up to 1 guest. Access is also granted to first/business class passengers of Air France/KLM Flying Blue and other Skyteam airline partners.

Crown Lounge facilities include bar and buffet, showers, free WiFi, comfy chairs and work areas. The intercontinental lounge has plenty of seating capacity including a darkened rest area with booths containing lie down chairs. Note that the KLM lounges can get busy at peak hours.

As you enter you're welcomed by the bar and hundreds of sofas with an electricity plug next to each. The lounge also has a private calm area and two different kinds of seating; the brown sofas and the red design chairs.

Walk to the other section behind the glass doors where another bar serves food and a third is dedicated to Heineken. I had a refreshing cold Heineken draft on the go.

Dozens of wine choices, soft drink machines, nuts and dried fruits but bizarrely no desserts other than fruits. On tonight's menu is a four cheese pasta, noodles and tomato sauce, two kinds of soups, a salad bar, old Amsterdam cheese and prawn crackers.

Loaded with travelers, this lounge can have them all. Choose to sit in any of the many corners, use the computers and printer, shower or even smoke in the designated area.
