Breakfast at The Westin Cairo is Wonderful!

Located in the heart of an upscale area in Cairo, the Westin Katameya is a five stars hotel and resort that will transport you into another dimension like if you traveled to the Canary Islands and back. Excellent service, ample rooms, and tasty food, the hotel made want to book my next holiday trip with my family.

A vast room, a huge bed, and a vast bathroom, I spent a memorable night at the Westin!

Back to the start, I was welcomed professionally, shown to my room, walked around the resort and enjoyed its vibes. At night, nibbles at the bar, a bottle of white wine and a relaxing night sleep.

Two pools, a big golf course, rooms with terraces, green grass and a vast lobby designed with style.

You have to experience breakfast; every detail counts, cleanliness, taste and positive vibes. The chef tours around every hour, the manager attends to every single detail, a waiter makes sure plates are clean and refilled; I was not expecting this in Cairo.

I was feeling so good that I didn’t even want to write the details but spent my time taking photos of every aspect around this classy resort.

The minuses:

  • The reception staff could be more friendly though and understand clients needs better.
  • On the second day, my room was not done! Is that normal in five stars hotel?

An experience I’ll repeat soon!
