Wine Infused Coffee: A New Kind of Hybrid

Food hybrid has taken a whole new level. This time we are talking about coffee and wine, items that are rarely paired together.

In Molinari Private Reserve, this idea came up of mixing the two beverages together, creating a ‘Wine Infused Coffee’. Coffee beans are soaked in wine to absorb its "nose and history", before they are left to dry and hand roasted in small batches. The company recommends brewing these beans with a French press pot to get the full effect of the flavors.
 
The California company spent two years perfecting the blend to make the coffee flavored with the wine...
