One big sign claims to serve “the best crepes in Paris.” A wide space, a restaurant open all day long, served crepes, waffles and croissants. Decorated in white and lid with warm lights welcomes you for breakfast. I was excited to try the restaurant yesterday night and didn’t have the chance to do why not have breakfast. Two crepes and a coffee!

Looking like an open kitchen using the Paris metro tiles, the restaurant has a coffee bar on one side, live crepes on the other sides with five employees working together. Crepes are not fresh, prepared earlier, and filled when the customer asks: I was excited to try “The Best Crepes in Paris”.

The buckwheat galette (galette sarrasin) is so watery I felt like eating soup. Cheese, ham, and an egg served on a very thin crepe that slacks all the humidity, creating a moist mix. No salt, no pepper... no flavor. The best part is that you end up eating the paper under it.

The dessert crepe, very thick like a block note, is so chewy it hurts. Very thick crepe folded in each other where you have Nutella on one side, a banana on the other side with almonds on it. Don’t plan to eat the banana, Nutella, and almonds together.

They claim to have the best, in fact, they have the worst. Bad food, noisy door slamming, touristic service: don’t visit, and I won’t be coming back. (La Creme de Paris)
