I thought to write a review about the hotel and add to it the breakfast part until I had my first bite. Juicy spinach and fresh white cheese on a bed of crunchy English muffin. Lightly oily, salty and peppery, the eggs are mixed with spinach and tomatoes, a perfect combination of premium ingredients the palate will savor on an early morning.
Enjoying the view, admiring sunrise, listening to jazz tunes, I sat on the terrace to have breakfast with the birds. At seven am, no one was awake, it was calm and serene, coffee was being refilled every five minutes... I was feeling great!
On the menu, choose from several choices, of which eggs, pancakes, French toast, and granola. Eggs with bacon, spinach, sausages, smoked salmon, and yogurt.
Food is outstanding; the experience is memorable!
Mmmm... wow! The poached eggs with fried bacon and toasted English muffin are breathtaking. Crunchy bacon loaded with fat, poached eggs cooked to perfection and a thick toasted English muffin spread with butter; it’s surreal!
French toast the American way; not fatty, not heavy, not watery, a pain-perdu a l’Americaine. Two thick toasts fried from both sides, loaded with milk and maple syrup on the wide. Strawberries, nuts, and butter. Yummy French toast that leaves a pleasant taste in the mouth. Made with bananas, the roasts are succulent.
Enjoying the moment, I let my senses go and invite my body to enjoy the moment. I looked at he plates and saw pieces of art, smelled each ingredient and imagined its origin, tasted the balanced preparations and felt a smile brighten my face.
Happy, I was happy, felt happy and content.
