I was still jet lagged after a long trip to the States so waking up early was not of the easiest of things. I think I snapped about of that snooze after seeing the breakfast buffet. It is impressive indeed, the number of stations and amount of food choices proposed, it surely is one of the most generous breakfasts I've ever attended. It's breakfast at Shamgri-Oman.
I walked into a small dimmed space at 10am where all tables were occupied and hundreds of guests were enjoying their morning meal. I would have preferred that the place be more lit with natural light especially that the hotel boasts a view with such a beautiful view and again when you see the breakfast choices available to be devoured, you’ll forget about all the inconveniences.
I went down the stairs to sea level where the restaurant is. To the left you’ll find the oven where manakish awaits and some pastries before walking on to grab a table. Grab some coffee, lay back and enjoy the morning buzz.

You can't but pick from everything tempted to eat for the day.
The aroma around here is fresh and appetizing while the space, even though filled with people, looks clean. It's a five star hotel with a five star quality.
I enjoyed my coffee and had a banana and planned to come back again the next morning for a hefty breakfast. Today, I'm going to the mall.
