Burberry Opens Its First Restaurant

Burberry joins the long list of designer store to open a cafe. The British fashion brand's first in-house cafe, called Thomas's is situated in its London flagship store at 121 Regent Street.

Joining the ranks of Gucci, ArmaniRoberto Cavalli and the like, Burberry’s first dining outlet is name Thomas’s, after the brand’s founder Thomas Burberry, the new cafe features an all-day menu and interiors inspired by British craftsmanship. The menu includes items like whole lobster and chips, Mersea Rock oysters and Sutton Hoo chicken salad, as well as your choice of afternoon tea or champagne.

The new cafe is housed in the gifting section of the flagship store, where patrons can pick from a selection of home furnishings, stationery and travel accessories, and have them personalized on the spot through embroidery or leather embossing. The aim is to give customers the chance to enjoy the world of Burberry in a more social environment.
