How many times have you dined with classical music tunes in a restaurant enchanted with the smell of cakes and sweets? A terrace, a casual English-style cafe and a big dining space on the lower floor. Music, enchanting music, my style of music... I loved it here!
I walked in so happy that I couldn’t stop taking videos and photos. The staff was kind of shocked not knowing why I’m doing this. There’s the bakery on the right, the delicatessen corner on the right, the long bar, the music corner, and the white sofa st the end of the restaurant. It’s so relaxing, so enchanting, so calm to start your day at Delicatessen
On the menu; the charcuterie platter. Cheese platter, seafood platter, giblet platter, sandwiches, Benedicts, breakfast as well as burgers, pasta, meats, and starters. They have duck, liver, shrimp and much more.
Yes! Real pork bacon! Yuppiiii... excellent eggs Benedict! Really excellent, the sauce, the spices, the texture, the flavors, and general taste... intense, strongly spiced, extraordinary delicious... bravo for the eggs softness, the sauce taste, and bread quality.
Peers on brioche, carpaccio of thinly sliced peers with a spread of ricotta on a bed of homemade brioche. A beautiful mix I enjoyed and that gave me ideas of mixing fruits with cheese.
Cakes are as good as breakfast itself. Freshly baked, the apple pie, blueberry cheesecake, and red fruits crumble are awesome!!!!
Two thumbs up for the food and the ambiance; when in Istanbul, you have to put Delicatessen on your list.
