After spending memorable time at this particular hotel last year, I couldn’t but book again three nights when visiting Paris. I loved everything about Fauchon L’Hotel starting by the professional welcome, signature aromatic drink, mouthwatering macarons before even moving to the room. Up in our luxurious quarters, a handful of Fauchon products are all free! Yes, free of charge, enjoy crackers, biscuits, and water. How could I forget the experience and not book another stay at Fauchon.
Arriving on a beautiful rainy Tuesday, we were welcomed at one hour after noontime, we were showed to the bibliothèque and offered a Fauchon cold tea drink with lemon and orgeat syrup (Orgeat syrup is a sweet syrup made from almonds, sugar, and rose water or orange flower water. It was originally made with a barley-almond blend. It has a pronounced almond taste and is used to flavor many cocktails. Orgeat syrup is an important ingredient in the Mai Tai and many Tiki drinks). Aromatic as it travels through your nostrils, sweet and balanced. With that, three raspberry macarons for us to share. Minutes after, the rooms were ready!
Up, on the eighth floor, two windows offer a marvelous view of the vibrant city. A few hours before sunset, strong arrays of light were entering from all sides, reflecting on the shiny surfaces. As expected, a loaded bar, a big king-size bed, a vast bathroom, and a working desk. Welcomed like kings, we were pampered and accompanied to the room with a full explanation of the bar’s content.
A pleasant night's sleep, an excellent location, welcoming staff, and a professional team; the Fauchon experience is as good as I expected it to be. Second visit and second enjoyment. I’ll recommend this hotel to my friends.
