Discovered by coincidence, Frog is a burger shop that already have more than ten locations across Paris, serving burgers and homemade beers. Feeling like an upscale American diner, the restaurant welcomes you with happy musical tunes, bright lights and a fresh decor using earthy materials: stones, wood, metal and leather.
Something caught my attention while walking the streets of Paris, making me walk-in without even thinking twice. On the menu, three kinds of burgers, fries, desserts and beers. Behind the bar is a tech kitchen where food is prepared a-la-minute.
I felt good having lunch in here. High tables with three bottles of condiment using the Hellmann’s brand, one of the world’s best. Managed by a positive and professional staff, Frog -which I never heard about before- seems to be the next burger brand in Paris.
I loved the beer: a craft beer with balanced hops, full-bodied, flavors of red fruits and end-notes of enjoyable bitterness.
Food is very good! Excellent flavors, textures, aromas, creations and ideas. I loved the bun, the patty, the ingredients and most importantly the fries. Pulled beef on a taco loaded with purple cabbage coleslaw salad, and drizzled with sour cream. The blue cheese burger has a gourmet feel without being complicated. The fries are excellent specially the sweet potato fries.
In two minutes, all the food was prepared, I savored my beer, took photos, asked about the concept and had a professional reply, enjoyed the music and left happy. Frog is a place to visit when in Paris.
