Vietnamese food, colorful decor, and positive vibes; the word “Bao” caught my attention so I stopped for lunch. I love sticky Baos from Vietnam and this place has nice vibes. Colorful walls, photography lighting umbrellas used as lamps, stone tables with metallic rims, bamboo and red napkins and more fun to the ambiance.

The food is good, good enough but not exceptional. The bun is not even sticky but more of a bread circle. The Pad Thai has a bizarre aftertaste to it and the third plate of noodles -which I didn’t order- is as good as it should be. I was not impressed by the food. Unfortunately, everything contains garlic so my plates were prepared differently.

I like the place and the vibes but I’m not sure that food -prepared without garlic- will bring me back here. It’s not a place for people with a garlic allergy. I’ve had better noodles on the streets yesterday.

PS: when the waiter tells you that all plates are prepared with garlic so please consider that food will taste differently, I personally say that the chef doesn’t know how to balance flavors so he throws garlic everywhere.
