Again and again, I’m here because it’s the best breakfast place in Paris. From Melbourn to the highest point of the capital, under the stairs of The Sacre Coeur, let me introduce you to Hardware Société. It’s a small casual eatery serving brunch all day long. Come here for some unconventional creations like the pain perdu with caramelized bananas, chai and honey cheesecake, salted caramel, and blueberries. Don’t leave without trying the unique crab and langoustine Benedict with saffron hollandaise, soft herbs, black bun, and poached egg. Have a cake and leave with a smile on your face, a smile that will last for a year or so! Yes, Hardware Société is as good as having an orgasm.
I just noticed that the Pain Perdu has changed but not the eggs. On my first visit, I had the (bavarois passion fruit with chocolate mascarpone, passion fruit pulp, and fresh raspberries). On the second visit, I had the (toasted pineapple pain perdu with toasted coconut Panna cotta, lime chantilly, and fresh passion fruit). Today I'm having a third version (caramelized bananas, honey cheesecake, salted caramel, and blueberries).
Top! Feel the tender black bun, the perfectly poached warm egg, the crunch le of crab and langoustine, the acidity, and the decoration of purslane. It’s like eating a breakfast burger, an amazing sandwich, something nobody created before.
OMG! This is pure pleasure. A whole banana caramelized to perfection with crunchy bits here and there. Thick brioche loaded with milk and sugar, a big ball of mascarpone... OMG... again and again... it makes you want to scream! So freaking good, so finger-licking awesome!!!
