It starts with a bean. The bean is crushed and hot water forced through. The results are sometimes good, sometimes bad, and sometimes wonderful. We’re chasing something wonderful. In pursuit of wonderful we’ve gone back to the step between the bean and before the water.
The grinder:
As many espresso enthusiasts will tell you the grinder is as important, if not more important, than the espresso machine. Yet many grinders that deliver the quality that people seek are either too large, too expensive, or simply are not suited for use in a normal household environment. This is what we hope to change.
The HG one project aspires to build a better espresso grinder with amazing features. For something that costs $990, hopefully will make your coffee taste better - but one thing's for sure, it will look amazing on your kitchen counter.
