Perfect, it’s just perfect! Even though not ranked as a palace, it feels like one. The Intercontinental Opera is a Hotel I will recommend to my friends visiting the French capital. With its back entrance located behind Le Cafe de La Paix and the famous Opera Garnier, we arrived in front of a big door leading to a lobby decorated with fine marble and shiny crystal chandeliers.
Welcome to a luxurious hotel! The concierge occupies the left side, walk to the reception on the right or take the elevators up to your room. Every detail counts, every centimeter is created to amaze.

La verrière, what an amazing space. Having one of Paris’ biggest lobby salons, the Intercontinental offers a relaxing way to enjoy the French capital under a glass roof. The bar, the cafe, and several sofas are perfect for your meetings.
Up in the room, put off the air conditioning unit during winter times and sleep with a smile on your face! Fluffy pillows and a soft bed made me sleep like a baby. The 22 square meters room is what you need for your couple days stay in Paris. Warm and elegant decor, a sofa seat, working desk, toilet and vast bathroom with its showers and bathtub.
Room service is impeccable! Impeccable in all what the word means: the attention to details is usually rare to find.
Breakfast at Cafe de la Paix is a must.
I enjoyed my stay, walking around the hotel, the relaxing bed, and room, the showers, the receptionist... almost everything! I loved it here and will recommend it to all my friends.
