It was one of the few times when writing a review was not even planned. One of the few times when I sat planning to relax and enjoy the moment... but the experience was way too good not to be documented! Tonight's dinner was close to perfect.
Not my first time at Kahwet el Mandaloun and surely not the last, an upscale traditional Lebanese cafe serving a selection of authentic local specialities revisited with simplicity, class and finesse. It's about the mood, the vibes, the quality of people, the service and then the crowning glory - the food.
Spent a memorable night eating from every single plate and savoring the moment. Excellent hummus, exceptional cabbage salad, a unique Kebbeh, Tannour bread, moutabbal, Armenian manteh - the list goes on and on. Been here already so please feel free to read the previous review for all the details while I enjoy a pleasant dinner!
Even though some were smoking, we didn't feel their smoke and this is one major advantage I look for at a shisha cafe. Loved the vibes, adored the food, appreciated every aspect of the service while planning my next visit...soon!
