Beit Misk was special this summer as it encouraged everyone to meet their neighbors through a weekly lunch get together at the Club House.
Music played in the background of a beautiful garden set up where white pergolas kept sun rays away, wooden tables, a bar serving refreshing drinks and a kids area.
It's all built around the central tree. The left side is equipped for children which are taken care of as they arrive.
The bar separates this area from the tables and buffet. A variety of food prepared by Black Pepper also known as Cate in Style was set on a big U-shaped table.
It was almost 2pm, guests arrived one after the other while tables filled with food were ready to be served to hungry clientele.
Beautifully presented, the buffet included some appetizers, salads and two main plates. There's a grill section and a pasta station... Eight chefs were serving with a a smile on their faces despite the heat.

It was too hot to eat but I tried a couple things which in my opinion enabled me to judge the food fairly. The meat was tender and perfectly marinated. The gigot meat served with rice was also tender and the rice was also delicious while the sauce was full bodied and tasty. The moghrabieh was also good and prepared as it should be.
Everyone seemed to have enjoyed the food. No plates were left as is... Music, I loved the music. It was carefully chosen for the occasion, happy inviting tunes.
The minuses:
- Beverages should never be served in big 2liters bottles when it's hot as they lose all their gas in contact with ice. It's more profitable for sure but not doable or acceptable in such heat.
What was important on that day was the initiative taken by Beit Misk as well as the catering company, Cate in Style I was introduced to and enjoyed.
