Part of many awards, MP’s is Montreux’s famous destination of good food and great vibes. A premium grill and excellent bar, spend happy moments with a view, surrounded by dimmed lights, candles, and enchanting decor. Access to the bar, walk through the first dining space and arrive at that intimate corner facing a breathtaking display of wine bottles. Class in all its forms welcome to the grill room.

Pure lines, wood, marble floors, grey fabrics, and dark carpets... the restaurant feels dimmed and bright at the same time. Awarded by the local restaurant guide and the Michelin guide, the restaurant is a reference in the area; it’s located in the city’s best hotel. The restaurant has won the award of the best luxury bar of 2019 by the World Luxury Restaurant Awards.

On the menu, choose from a selection of starters, meats, and accompaniments. Cote de bœuf for two, chateaubriand for two or lamb for two. A choice of fish, carpaccio, and vegetables with homemade hummus. You can have a vegan choice and caviar.

Perfection... Swiss perfection; fine wine glasses, design cutlery, ivory center tables, candles, bread plate, and giant olives to start your dinner. I was excited to try the food!

I had the hummus with grilled vegetables, a vegan plate presented like a piece of art. Hummus, creamy but thick with colorful vegetables, decorating the plate from side to side. Tomatoes, oranges, zucchini and bell pepper among other colorful vegetables. I enjoyed it while preparing to plunge into my meat.

My wife had the shrimp ravioli, my mother in law had the molten tomme cheese; both plates were excellent!

The service was changed, meat knives. A spoon for the sides and two forks: one fork had a bizarre shape, a premiere for me. That fork has two branches not four; I believe it’s intended to hold the thick meat and pass the knife in the middle.

It doesn’t need more than one bite to know why this restaurant is so famous. The meat quality is exceptional, beef served red with no juice or blood, tender,  and loaded with flavors alongside a superb béarnaise and tasty fries. The presentation, the plates, the flavors; all perfect!
