Located inside Fico, the world’s first food experience created by Eataly, Osteria serves Pasta and local cuisines of Italy. Among many restaurants, I was craving pasta, and the menu board grabbed my attention; Let’s have an Amatriciana!
The bizarre thing is that employees at Eataly speak very little English and sometimes don’t; communicating with waiters is not too easy.
Sit at the bar, on the high chairs or choose one of the tables. An open kitchen, a manager with no uniform and two waiters. I ordered a bottle of white wine, two plates of pasta and waited to be served. Service is very quick!
Yummy pasta is served here, cooked al-dente, a homemade sauce with a strong kick of acidity mixed with premium ingredients. I loved the pasta quality and texture, the creaminess of the red sauce, the hardness of the bacon and smoothness of the swordfish.
A good choice for my lunch! Enjoyed Italian flavors on the go.
