Mastering the art of cutting is the first thing you learn how to do when learning how to cook. Culinary school, Escuela de Cocina Carulla in Bogota, Columbia created this unique introductory cookbook to test their students’ knowledge, cut by cut.
Designed by Ogilvy & Mather Bogota this unique cookbook was made especially for use in Bogota's Escuela de Cocina Carulla cooking school to help students practice knife skills. The book is marked with thin lines along which readers must cut precisely to view each recipe.
By following precise lines, the perforated guides help to ensure the students learn to make clean cuts. Students work for their recipes by slicing through their workbook pages. When successful, they are rewarded with a recipe. A second edition is on it's way.
