When I saw the logo and metallic signage I said to myself “this brand copied Shake Shack from the name and beyond.” When you read that this diner has been opened since 1934, you understand that it’s the other way around. Shake Shack, New York’s famous burger place has taken the name, the burger shape and metallic signage direction from the other or vice versa; anyway, I was hungry, and this is what matters for now.
I haven’t been eating exceptional food in Vegas until now. I was craving a tasty breakfast, a real American one, so head to Steak ‘n Shake located on the other side of the road facing the MGM Grand.
With American diner colors, tables and music, sit at the bar, one the high tables or on one of the couches made of red and black leather. Ketchup, maple syrup, jams, and cream are set in every table.
On the menu: classic favorites, sides, drinks. Everyday favorites, sandwiches, cereal shakes. (All kinda of Eggs, pancakes, burgers, sausage, and bacon).
Bad food, looking cheap and unappetizing. We received the biscuits and not the eggs, an egg biscuit sandwich that falls into a thousand piece when you try to take it in hand, home-style eggs - undercooked eggs- served on a dirty plate with no decoration or presentation, accompanied by two hard textures slices of bacon. Chewy pancakes tasting like stale bread.
Maple syrup in a plastic container, coffee was not refilled, a salt container dirty from the week before, bad lighting for a breakfast place... bad all the way!
Lol, even water tastes cleaning detergents.
Bad all the way! Deceiving and not to be repeated
