Street Artist Turns Old Mattresses into Food Sculptures

Using waste to create art has become a popular thing around the world. Paris based street artist Lor-K transforms discarded mattresses found on the streets of her home city into wonderful food sculptures... I will try to keep an eye for them the next time I am in Paris.

The artist calls her work ‘Eat Me’, a project that creatively turns unwanted trash into realistic, large-scale models of foods, including sushi rolls, a cupcake, a pizza slice, sandwiches and cakes. These original food sculptures look so real that they may make you hungry.
