The Delicious Micro Bites, Found at Joanna's Table Gemmayze (Discontinued)

A few days ago I wrote a review on Joanna's Table, a small and delicious restauarant at Kitsch located on the ground floor of an old and authentic Lebanese house in Gemmayze.

I mentioned something about trying the best mankoushe in town…Indeed, once you start, you can't stop...

I must tell you further about my latest discovery at Joanna’s Table.

Joanna's Table has what they call mini bites but I would call them micro pieces of heaven. At the restaurant I tried their mini mankoushe bites. Served in a bowl, these little crunchy bites are just enough to make you go down to the restaurant. I then discovered that they have the same pizza bites in the same size. I ordered both to take home... There's a choice of Mankoushe bites - Simply heat them - dip each with a bit of Labneh and you’re in heaven. While the pizzas can be enjoyed with a drink among friends, after heating them a few minutes in the oven to enjoy its fresh ingredients.

PS: Just start and you won't be able to stop. Always keep some backed up in the freezer. Contact Joanna's Table at Kitsch.

Pizza: is an oven-baked, flat, round bread typically topped with a tomato saucecheese and various toppings. After its invention in Naples, the dish has become popular in many parts of the world.

Manakish, or in singular form man'ousheh is a popular Levantine food consisting of dough topped with thyme, cheese, or ground meat. Similar to a pizza, it can be sliced or folded, and it can either be served for breakfast or lunch. The word manaqish is the plural of the Arabic word manq?shah, meaning that after the dough has been rolled flat, it is pressed by the fingertips to create little dips for the topping to lie in.

This is a comparison of size to have an idea.
