Laying on my bed after driving for six hours from Paris to Switzerland, I felt like waking up from a dream. Relaxing my body and enjoying the view, I took a moment to tell you about the Fairmont. One of the city’s most iconic hotels welcomes you for a weekend of dreams. With its cafe, lounge bar, and iconic restaurant, the mansion has it all to make you dream. A dream come true if I may call it.
Arrive at the reception where a valet takes your car and leaves it at the parking for the night. Check-in and your bags will follow. While the rooms were getting ready, I roamed around the hôtel taking photos and videos of every corner; the building is huge! Beautifully designed and decorated with style, Le Montreux Palace hôtel is much more than five stars. I was so excited to try their food and experience their breakfast.
Back to the room, my large-sized room equipped with a big sofa, meeting table, working desk, and king-sized bed. The big bathroom has two sinks, a shower, and a toilet. Classy with its yellow lanterns, white walls, and beige curtains, the room hosts a big television and tablet playing all sorts of music. It’s rare to find a hotel room brightly lit like the one we had at The Montreux Palace. I also loved the carpet which is pleasant to walk on.
I enjoyed a pleasant dinner at MP’s Bar & Grill, winner of the best luxurious bar of 2019 and went straight to sleep. Relaxing and calm are how I would describe my night. I slept like a baby, waking up to sunrise over the lake.
Breakfast is served every day until 10:30 am. Enjoy a view on the lake and the petit palais historical building, sip a coffee, check your emails for a pleasant start of the day.
Two days in a row gave me the chance to try everything at the hotel, and I loved it.
