The Food Project: The Shape of Taste

Don’t miss this chance to discover, look, taste and take part in the unique event that is “The Food Project”- The Shape of Taste, a project exhibition about food and its shapes read by famous architects, designers and of course some of the best Italian chefs.

The exhibition held at the Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea Di Trento e Rovereto, Mart expresses the ongoing relationship between art and food.

The Saint Paul cathedral out of a geleé, a cup made with cinnamon or coffee powder, strange pasta experiment, pictures of good-looking dishes or an effimero sugar spoon are some of the things you will discover and enjoy.

The project has also an on-going show cooking the MartCooking. The recap is divine food, strange shapes, crazy colors, beautiful fantasies. A succession of ‘artists of cuisine’ will be showing their skill in the museum’s rooms from 13th February to 22nd May: Gualtiero Marchesi, Bruno Barbieri, Moreno Cedroni, Igles Corelli, Felice Lo Basso, Claudio Sadler, Davide Scabin, Luigi Taglienti and Roberto Valbuzzi.

Each of them will be presenting two dishes for “Mart Cooking”. The first will be chosen from each chef’s own repertoire, while the second creation, made specially for the occasion, will be dedicated to the high-quality products of the Trentino region.
