The New Board: Syndicate of Owners of Restaurants Cafes, Night-Clubs & Pastries in Lebanon

The Syndicate of Owners of Restaurants, Cafés, Night-Clubs & Pastries is a non political and non governmental organization supporting the restaurant industry in Lebanon. They work with restaurants owners and operators to help them achieve their ambitions.
 
They are:
  • Member of the Advisory Commission. Ministry of Tourism
  • Board member of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF)
  • Member of the National Employment Office
  • Member of the General Directorate of Technical and Vocational Education. Ministry of Education and Higher Education
With a vision to move our Restaurants, Cafés, Night-Clubs & Pastries industry forward and to position Lebanon as a regional landmark in the Food & Beverage sector, the new elected board started work immediately to achieve the following points:
  • Modernize the restaurants’ industry laws, dating since the 1960s/1970s and update them to serve the F&B sector’s current needs
  • Protect the interests of investors and owners in the F&B sector
  • Create a solid network that includes a maximum number of prominent restaurants, cafés, nightclubs, bars and pastries in Lebanon
  • Serve as a lobbying body between F&B investors/owners and the government including the Ministries of Tourism, Labor, Finance, and Economy and the National Social Security Fund
  • Coordinate with the Ministry of Tourism Advisory Commission, among others
  • Organize ongoing trainings on food and quality control restaurateurs
  • Enhance investments in the Food & Beverage sector in all the regions of Lebanon
  • Create events that promote the Lebanese gastronomy all over Lebanon
  • Improve human resources and professionalism in general in the Food & Beverage industry in Lebanon
  • Enforce quality, rules and regulations at all levels 11. Become a reliable database source for the Food & Beverage industry in Lebanon  
  • Publish articles and statistics related to the Food & Beverage industry activities in Lebanon
