Very soon you will be witnessing an amazing new food trend, which will be taking Lebanon and the Middle East by storm: The Shawarmanji Movement. But it seems, even Iron Man (played by Robert Downy Jr) sparked a great interest in shawarma in the recent all-star blockbuster, The Avengers, and you should expect your shawarma passion to awaken as soon as Shawarmanji opens.
I had the chance to be one of the first to really indulge in the mouth-watering taste of Shawarmanji's shawarmas and trust me, you're in for a treat. The quality of the meat, the way it melts in your mouth, the right spices, the right condiments added, the perfect bite size, it all adds together to make it simply perfect! Their passion towards their new project sparked a deep interest in me, so I wanted to be the first to tell you about the new restaurant. The concept was developed out of a strong belief that the shawarma has as much taste and potential to become as popular as burgers, yet no one has managed to take this tasty Lebanese sandwich to another level, until now. Shawarmanji is taking the opportunity to build the tastiest and healthiest shawarma and build a strong brand behind it that will soon become to shawarma what McDonald's is to burgers.
“To be honest there is no way to compare us to any other restaurant. Firstly, our goal goes further beyond a restaurant since we aim to build a brand. As a product, we are keen on delivering the original authentic taste of the shawarma. We are also investing a lot of effort to build a system behind our sandwiches so we can be proud to deliver not only great taste, but also great value, consistency and the cleanest and safest product there is,” explained the management.
Shawarmanji is currently working on several items, most of which are centered on shawarma, but the restaurant will also be offering salads and appetizers, among other services that will be left for surprise. Shawarmanji guarantees that original shawarma taste our ancestors crafted and enjoyed, but they’ll be giving the traditional meal that extra flavor that will surprise everyone.
Shawarmanji will be opening in Beirut and Dubai in a manner that will be aggressive and reflect the food brand’s potential and ambitions. This year in Lebanon, you’ll start noticing branches popping up in Zalka, Achrafieh, Hamra, Sin el Fil and Kaslik. And when asked about making Shawarmanji the next fast food chain to storm the globe, their answer was: “Oh yeah! The efforts, investment and research we are putting behind this innovative product are an embodiment of our ambitions. We are certainly dreaming big and working hard to be a living proof that our food culture is one of the best in the world and can be appreciated globally!”
