Fourth delivery after the first review and Tomatomatic seems to have forgotten what a real American Pizza should be like. I feel sad to have to write a review like that.

The first time, I liked it because compared to Pizza Hut or Domino's, the pizza was juicier, the dough was better, the ingredients were fresher and most importantly the pizza felt lighter on the stomach. After the fourth review and having given them the benefit of doubt, it's time to tell you about Tomatomatic's pizza... at least in my opinion.

The second time the experience was starting to get worse, or at least it was not up to standard.

The pizza usually reaches you cold, the dough is too thick and too chewy, the filling is dry and poor, the pizza lacks juiciness. For LBP20,000 each, I still prefer Pizza Hut, at least when you want to enjoy a cheat night on your diet.

Barbecue burger pizza sauce is yet to be found. The normal pizza is extremely dry, hard to swallow and the pepperoni feels like it's covered with synthetic cheese.

The dough, the main ingredient, is really hard and chewy and when you reach the crust it's like eating a baguette without the filling. No juiciness, no fluffiness, no airiness, but simply thick and heavy bread like concrete on your stomach.

I ate two slices because I was really hungry, otherwise I would have slept without dinner.

I'm not sure what Tomatomatic is really all about, but this pizza concept surely needs improvement to compete with Pizza Hut considering I always had negative encounters with Domino's and don't consider it as competition. Maybe one day we'll have real American pizzas in Lebanon...
