I had to choose one more meal, the last meal before I leave this city. I was craving spaghetti... it’s not new, I believe you should know by now that I crave Spaghetti all day, all year. I chose Verona, one of three Italian restaurants open one by the other. I’m not sure why, but I felt this place.

The smallest Italian restaurant on Reguliersdwarsstraat street is called Verona, a restaurant for tourists so I hoped for the food to be good. One waiter takes the orders, runs for cutlery, left the sparkling water for us to fill our glasses, managing half a dozen tables at once.

The space being too dark inside, I sat on the sidewalk.

Unappetizing plates; the international cuisine diner serving Shisha under my office knows more what Italian cuisine is all about. Dirty and broken plates, I prepared myself to eat!

Bad, very bad! Chewy tagliatelle with overcooked salmon mixed in a tasteless heavily creamy sauce; I felt like chewing a gum. Long red onions? Seriously! If onions are a must, they should be diced very small.

Spaghetti cut in small pieces like kids food, you can’t roll on a fork, mixed with a commercial tomato Bolognaise needing salt and acidity. I added a load of parmesan and it remained not tasty. Without forgetting that you’ll have to eat your pasta with a meat fork.

4,3/5 on google maps is overrated; it’s not an Italian cuisine I recommend you try.
