Nestled on the seventh floor at the famous Corte Ingles in the heart of Madrid, the restaurant is visited by the locals and tourists alike. Older people mostly, come here for the service, the food, and the view.
With its four pages of dozens of photos, you will have the chance to see each photo before ordering it. Starters, salads, risottos with seafood, Super Bowls, sandwiches, hamburgers, meat platters, Italian specialties, and desserts. The menu feels fresh and appetizing waking your mouth water.
Extremely slow service and you end up waiting for food that’s loaded eh garlic, not hot enough and lacking sauce;
- A loaded burrata served with diced potato is creamy and juicy inside out: I would have preferred it win a sauce on top.
- Crunchy cheese croquette with a molten heart.
- A big pan of rice paella cooked al dente; because it contains garlic, I could taste it, but my wife tells me that it’s not tasty.
- A loaded Niçoise salad. It’s served without sauce.
- A tasty, juicy burger.
- A double dose of escalope milanaise with spaghetti and tomato sauce.
- The potato and chicken soup is close to being inedible.
Food, in general, is stale, lack style, taste, and life.im not sure why all those people come here other than for the view.
