ICEHOTEL and car manufacturer MINI have created a deluxe suite for the winter season. Each year the Ice Hotel invites artists and partners to design individual rooms that turn the hotel into a unique place of inspiration. The MINI deluxe suite was designed and implemented by the wholly owned BMW Group subsidiary DesignworksUSA.
The result is MINI Evolution � an upscale hotel and design experience, for which MINI�s familiar forms were combined with the environment of the ICEHOTEL and the evolution of housing � from ancient caves to today�s modern rooms.
The �suite tells the story of the transformation of an icon and the fascinating evolution of animals and objects that proudly want to become a true MINI. Guests are invited to dream in silent excitement and experience an unknown MINI world in which � like in the ICEHOTEL � everything becomes possible.
This truly spectacular suite for two, includes an en-suite sauna, relaxation area and toilet � and a MINI Country Man at your disposal. And, they've thrown in an extra 20 tons of ice and lifted the ceiling by a meter.
The MINI Evolution Deluxe Suite will be available until April 2014 for $2,100. The hotel offers�a total of 13 art suites and two deluxe suites.
