Much more than a pizzeria, NYC pizzeria is the restaurant of Elie and his father who have come back from Houston to Lebanon, bringing with them knowhow, passion, and flavors of the states. You feel something is special and professional from the way their menu is written, the allergens warning, the photos, and American feel.
Enjoy dining to the smell of fresh pizzas being baked. With the oven inside the dining area, you will smell rich aromas of baking taking-over the restaurant space.
The place: a low ceiling painted in white, walls painted in black and orange, writings add fun to the room. One television broadcasts movies, and another, jokes from Canada. Choose to sit on a couch or on the metallic chairs in the internal area or smoking terrace.
The menu proposes much more than pizza: appetizers, salads, pasta and entrees, wraps and sandwiches, low-cal burgers, kickass burgers, New York style hand tossed brick oven pizza, desserts, and beverages.
You have to know that the pizza sauce contains garlic and almost all items contain garlic as well. I asked for a sauce without garlic which was prepared for me a day ahead.
The 72-centimeter pizza is huge! Priced at 66,000LL it can feed up to 10 persons with a weight of 5 kilograms when loaded with sauce and cheese.
