In a busy place, loaded with customers and handled by two waitresses, arrive at an all-day breakfast place that doesn’t care to pamper its customers since anyway, Amsterdam is the city of tourists. I chose a small side table for two and promised to order for four persons, but in vain, I was moved to an even smaller table!
Taking the order, the other waitress didn’t smile, didn’t help with the order and was rushing with no time to spare. Turn around and look at the dirty kitchen... no gloves and no food safety measures, probably like all places in this city. Enjoying the show, I planned to take photos when the chef shouted: “no videos!”.
Rude, very rude, the staff is mean. Sit back and relax to the hundreds of unpleasant noisy sounds and try to enjoy your breakfast; I wished that the food, at least, is good.
Every plate passes by three people; one for the eggs, one to on to plate it and one to garnish it. Let’s eat!
Food is good, really good and hence the long line waiting outside and the attitude of the staff. The porky sandwich is outstanding, the mixture of the bread, the sweet sauce and loads of cold cuts. I enjoyed the eggs, moist and soft, loaded with white cheese for one and with avocados and pastrami for the other.
They are eggs experts! One chef was breaking the eggs, probably five a second, mixing them all together and waiting for the next order.
Good food and good vibes but I can't say the same about the team!
