In a classy Chinese setup, Seasons invites you on a culinary journey to Asia served by Chinese and Cypriot staff. Big wooden tables to fit all the food, two plates and a full set of cutlery, with a colorful ceiling decorated with crystal chandeliers. Chinese paintings, leather seats and a glass facade giving a view onto the busy lobby.

An exquisite combination of culinary delicacies from the Far East best describes the specialities prepared by the kitchen brigade. A rich menu offers a wide selection of Chinese and Asian specialities written in Chinese and English.

The restaurant reminded me of the days "Jardin de Chine" was open in Lebanon, offering gourmet Chinese food, a unique version of crispy calamari, an amazing Peking duck, vegetable rolls and much more.

The Peking duck is out of this world, duckling crispy fried served with flour pancakes, scallions, cucumbers and hoi sin sauce. Warm duck that melts like butter served on a square plate with its crispy skin. The pancakes are so soft and tasty you feel like rolling them around everything. The sweetness, the smoothness, the textures, the perfection of flavors... so yummy!

The fried calamari are different from any I've had before at international restaurants. This one marinated in seven spices has an extra crunch, extra flavor and tickling sensations.

FYI: the restaurant is in indoors, smoking is not allowed, the music is soft and relaxing, lights are dimmed, the food is tasty, but prices are a bit high.

The Honey Pork is about the most tender pork ribs you've ever seen mixed with honey and star anis. A red sauce which looks like jam gives this plate the needed sweetness, small ribs with very tender meat.

The thick noodles with beef chunks are just as good as the rest of the food! I loved them.

I like the professionalism of service, how wet napkins are given twice during the course of dinner, the attention to detail and the food quality.

And then came dessert time; it was one of the few times if not the only time I have received a dessert menu at a Chinese restaurant. Not one but four pages of desserts, the chef's recommendations, cakes and pastries, ice creams, ice cream creations and coffees. I had two, the grand cru and the crispy fried banana. What a great ending... check the photos! Some addictive desserts are found here.

This is what real Chinese food should be like and I've been missing it for too long. I enjoyed my dinner and would recommend it to my friends visiting Limassol.
