The Eggs & I, top rated on Google Maps deserves the recognition: a restaurant that feels like home away from home as if mum was welcoming you in her kitchen. Arrive at an American diner that has an old sign -which isn’t the best first impression- but wait until you are welcomed with a smile, taste the food and start eating. I loved the portion sizes, the food taste and quality, a load of ingredients and flavors in every dish, and again the genuine happy welcoming.
Unconventional eggs Benedict that is creamier and fattier with no finesse whatsoever, but I liked them! Another plate of Corned beef with sunny side up eggs. The avocado omelet is my favorite of all three. The savory plates are served with fried potato cubes.
Now the desserts: French toast with whipped cream, strawberry jam, and maple syrup. Three thick pancakes, blueberry jelly, and maple syrup. Again, a lack of finesse and this is what makes this food unique; American junk and I loved it. I won’t be eating here every day but once in a lifetime makes it an enjoyable experience.
