It's a popular burger shop with many branches around the capital. Oro Toro is at Bucuresti Mall (mall vitan) on the last floor where the food court is. Next to KFC and Chopstix, this burger joint proposes a selection of nine burgers, wings and fries.
What caught my attention is the speed of service. It seems their meat is prepared in advance and then heated up in this large oven made to prepare steaks. Some members of staff wear gloves and others don't and many girls walk in the kitchen in their day clothes. Nothing looks professional.
The burger before even eating it, looks dry, the bun looks old and stale and the meat looks bad in quality. The bun is hard; the meat is dry with an unpleasant after taste, cold vegetables and some cocktail sauce…
Wow! This must be the worst burger I have ever had. I was this close to spitting it out; strong spices, parsley, chewy, dry... Is that what they call a burger!
Mozzarella sticks: a crunchy envelope and a heart half filled with cheese and the rest empty.
Fries: Under cooked fries with a molten uncooked heart.
Fried chicken strips: Raw, yes, raw chicken with a battered envelope.
